A Functional Acknowledgment(FA) is an EDI message that GXS TradeWeb automatically generates and sends to the sender of the EDI message. TradeWeb does this whenever you open a new incoming EDI message.
In the same way, you may receive FAs from Trading Partners to whom you have sent messages.
FAs are sent when
You receive this message | When |
---|---|
Accepted FA | A received EDI message was viewed by the recipient. |
Rejected FA | A message you sent fails GXS TradeWeb translation or EDI compliance, and was not received by the recipient. |
